original AS cab transverse roof bunk

Post by jrt »

Hello i'm thinking of setting up a bed across the front seats, possibly like those mentioned on the wiki but i was flicking through the AS operating instruction manual that came with the van and it mentions a bunk that was in the van when new. Just out of curiousity does anyone have experience of one or any photos ? In the brochure it's worded " This bunk, which is normally stored below the rear dinette seat, is so designed that the two-part poles can be slid together and then fitted into position in the special plates which are situated on the windscreen and cab door pillars"
cheers David.

Sounds very similar to the Bluebird customs bunk
