Radiator fan

Post by Beastypete »

Hi been having some issues with my radiator fan not turning on, did the the test recommended in the wiki, which involves jumping the 3 pin connector from the centre pin as this is the live. Low fan worked but not top, being curious I jumped top and bottom feeds which turned on the high fan?!? Looks like the bottom pin is the live with the centre being low fan and the top high. Did Vw change the sequence or is the wiki correct or more likely has my van been wired incorrectly?

Cheers pete

As long as your radiator is getting hot then a faulty thermoswitch is the percentage guess.
