So how long ago was the rebuild, clipped a piston ring when rebuilt or just age related failure?
Must be getting bored if you are stripping engines, surely you can't have run out of vans to rebuild

Weak mixture doing that in 900 miles? Sounds a bit extreme - if that were the case I think I will stick to Wassers, much more robust
