goodbye Holdsworth chinz(interior re-vamps ideas please)

Post by italianjob »

hello all

has anyone got any examples of their re-upholstered interiors of a light brown/dark brown combo mix please? We're going to be having our interior re-upholstered (re-trimmed?) so we can say goodbye to the Holdsworth Chinz which is starting to look thread-bare why my ass has been sitting on it for the past 8 years

I saw a really good example either on flea bay or on here in the past few weeks but I can't seem to find it for love or money (should have taken a screen shot i know).

The vans is VW bright orange and the door cards are (and will remain) the original VW dark brown leatherette with stitching. The fen shui from the van is telling me the light brown (mocha) /dark brown combo will look good.

any ideas greatly recieved

cheers for now, and happy camping

Hello there, just finished doing a revamp on my Autosleeper interior, although more down the ivory/beige route than browns. I think a brown/mocha with maybe just the piping or a band of orange would look pretty cool with an orange body?
Who are you getting to do yours? Mine was all done by Mirror Trim http://www.mirrortrim.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

cheers for the example pics - look really cool. Thinking of getting some orange stitching / piping incorporated into the seats to get the interior to complement the bright orange exterior. Definately don't need to go too dark on the dark brown. The light brown/mocha is defo the way forward.

ta for now
