very quick question hopefully

Post by JamesT25 »

Hello all,

Hopefully this will be a very quick question. I have trawled through the wiki and done some searching but cant seem to find the answer to what size copper washer required for 1.9dg 1985 petrol engine. I have acquired a new bosch oil filter and 5 litres of 15w40 as the wiki tells you but cannot seem to find anywhere that tells me what size copper washer to get

if someone could help that would be great

After an oil change I will be getting my bus out again after some mods which will be shown in the relevant sections shortly!!!

Cheers

James

I assume you mean the sump plug copper washer? If so, then pretty standard, why not wait, and renew your sump plug as the washer comes with it from Brickwerks..

thanks to both of you guys. washer ordered for 20p from my local auto factors! made me laugh when I bought my 15w40 oil they looked at me all confused as in their mind its what you put in a citroen C1 brand new car not a 1985 jallopie!
