Iv got 205/50 17's up front and 255/40 17's on the back. Fronts seem to wear on inner edge so might be worth getting suspension/tracking set up. Rears appear to have worn nice and evenly. Where abouts are you based? Top gear tyres is pretty good near chester if your anywhere near??

I have the same tyres on mine. Be lucky to get 1000 miles out of em as the rear camber is sick but I love it. :D Pirelli p2000 or something like that.

Easiest way to calculate the size you need or would like is , say for example .......

standard steels running 185 80 14 =

185 divide by 100 times 80 = 148mm times by 2 = 296 (rubber width)

then for 14" inch wheel

multiply 2.54 x 14 = 355 mm

add the two together 355 + 296 = 651mm diameter

so it would all depend if you were wanting to change the total diameter of the wheel or keep it at the same rolling circumfrance

so going with example 2

205 50 17 would equate to a smaller diameter @ 636mm
255 40 17 would equate to 635mm

I hope this is of help
