I'm currently having starter problems, in that it does not turn, or even click. Many checks have been carried out
in respect of earths and feed voltages and all seem to be ok. Is there a starter relay anywhere in the circuit that
may have failed and if so, where is it? There is a relay in a black box in the engine bay (nearside front corner of
the engine bay). I'm having trouble identifying what this relay does. Anybody know?
Brooky.

No relay was fitted for the starter as original equipment. The relay in the engine bay is for the electric manifold heater.

Aaaah. That's what it's for. Excellent. Thanks very much bigherb.

might be the starter solenoid itself. If there's juice getting there and the earth is good you should hear it click
