Regassing air con

Anyone know whats involved in regassing air con Is it expensive,what else should be done whilst its being done

Cost = Depends where you take the vehicle?

Normal costs from non-franchised service centres are around £40 - £60..Thats just assuming its just a re-gas...They will tell you if you have a leak in the system etc.

Its a very old trick when selling a vehicle with air con, to suggest they system needs re-gasing, when in actual fact, the system needs to be fixed in one way or another.

I'm pretty sure that everyone form main agents to indepenent service centres will tell you what wants doing to your vehicle...Whether it needs it or not! :wink:
