Of course this is the more valuable diesel version with the desirable and simple AAZ unit installed which would be better than a petrol version and of course things were better 9 months ago so values were up. So if you were to put a value on Paul's example, for instance, you could benchmark this price and deduct 15% for drop in market value, 20% cuz his is a petrol, 10% cuz it needs new tyres and 50% cuz Paul has worked on it .....

I would want an AFN chucked in for that personally but hey ho!! On these figures Lloydy's van must be worth 20k plus when its sorted and Marks must be worth 35k and leaves me thinking what mine and Jakes is worth too... Looks like the wide open market for the LHD van comes at a premium.
Saying that realistically they are worth nothing if you dont use them how they are supposed to be used
I agree with both of you.
Originality is what the classic car market wants but I'm not sure T3 campers can or will ever come into that market. The mere fact that it is a camper conversion means it isn't factory original.
Its a long shot but, a mint GL caravelle with all the options, super straight panel or Tristar, has probably the best chance of reaching that rarefied atmosphere!!

Pay attention 007!! VW partnered with Westfalia to do their campervan conversions, next thing you'll be telling us that Syncros aren't factory original as Steyr Puch did the 4wd conversions
