Over heating T25 1.9 petrol

Post by TreeSwingerSam »

HI all, I am sure I sound like a total loser but I am a newbie.
I have a T25 Doka that is over heating and I cannot work out why. No hot water is getting to the radiator ? I replaced the thermostat and have a water pump but when I took the water pump pully wheel off all seemed ok? so I decided not to change it. I have bled the rad bleed bolt but am now lost.......
Thanks for not abusing me

Did you take the atual water pump off? Could be that you have lost some of the vains on the pump itself. Did you put the belt back on the water pump the right way? How long is it before the water boils up? Any water in oil or vise versa?

Try taking the thermostat out and running the engine. See if that is the problem.
