Eberspacher 24v

Post by The Bishop »

Can a 24v Eber' be converterted to 12v?
Seen one on ebay that looks OK and wonder whether I can convert it over.
Anything special about the fuel pumps?

Some can, some cannot, is it Petrol or Diesel ?

You can get 12 volt to 24 volt inverters but some Ebers require too much power to fire up than these inverters can supply.

Our man "oldiebutgoodie" will be a long soon with all the info as he is our resident expert, but he WILL need to know the model number.

Yep, I'm running one in my diesel westy through a step up converter bought off ebay and it works a treat. As previously mentioned, check that amps drawn on start up don't exceed the supply from the converter. Fuel pump should be 24v too.

Have you already bought the Eber? I have a D1LCC (diesel) for sale.
