ok let me say now, if you haven't guessed already i am a bit of a novice at all this, got the pump from Steve at gasure yesterday raced home excited about fitting it and hopefully getting her running on fuel again.
Pump bolts werent too bad, but the clips that hold the two pipes on are something i have never seen before. I was expecting to see Jubilee clips, checked on here last night and i can see they should never be used on these fuel lines, Guessing all that stems from the fire risk with these vans.
Called my local garage and asked if they could swap it over for me today but they are flat out and cant see me until the 12th July! anyway, point of my post is, what are those clips known as, and how do you remove them. there are 2x hardware shops near my work, so if needed i can go and buy a tool to remove them.
really stuck, like i said, never seen these types of clips before, what the hell are they called and how do i remove them? thought about calling Gasure but they've been more than good to me, i dont want to trouble them anymore,
can anyone tell me what they are, and what i need to do???
many thanks in advance
dave

The 'correct' clips are 'O Clips' ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-x-Zinc-Pla ... 84ba53c4ac
Or replace them with these clips ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11mm-13mm-MIN ... 4ceb1a1baa
You'll have to cut the old ones off with sidecutters and if you use the 'O-Clips' they are supposed to be fitted using a special pair of pincers like these ...

Remember that an injection system is under pressure be safe NOT sorry.
Hope this helps.
