Hi guys,
My JX to AAZ conversion running well if a little slow but compensated by the 41 Plus MPG.
Outstanding problem is clutch judder in 1st & 2nd when pulling away on an incline. Clutch replaced on old JX engine shortly before it blew, so did not replace when transfering to AZZ. Also used existing old but servicable engine mountings. Now considering replacing these .
Problem is I cannot find replacements which do not require a second mortgage, any ideas?

What price are you being quoted?
These parts DO hold your engine in place, so they are quite 'engineered' which might mean they're not as cheap as you might expect a 'piece of rubber' to be......

Have you SEEN how simple the petrol mounts are?
Also one is carrying a well-balanced flat four of light alloy construction, mounted as god intended (even if he did get many of the details wrong). The other set of mounts is carrying a drunken inline four banger that wants to make it's way out onto the road.
£50 is a mere pittance when you take that into consideration/

Mount for the same engine in a golf - £15.00 ish
Well exactly - that's when it's mounted as our good lord intended, not at 50deg over on it's side, drunk with the reponsibility of pushing 2t of van around.
See, diesel engines in T25s - expensive and wrong - VW were trying to put you off with the parts prices..... just not trying hard enough.
