I cut mine and put a connector behind the radiator grill and when they block up(just before the MOT) I suck and blow on the hose until they are clear, I am assuming your pump is still working?

Pumps are readily available at under a tenner so no real problem there.

The washer pump is very quiet. Have you tried it with the engine off? If it does make a noise then, it could just be some gunk in the system. I poked a small pin gently into the two jet nozzles and waggled it gently (trying not to move the jets out of the correct trajectory - not fatal as they can be moved back with a pin, but a faff) and that cleared it up for me. Good luck
:)

Also could be the wiper stalk pull up contact, try squirting some WD40 into the contact area to see if that helps.

Use a multi meter and see if you have power at the terminals when you pull the stalk (an extra pair of hands helps unless you are mr Tickle!). If you have power and can blow through the tube the pump is knackered! :ok
If in doubt give it a clout!
