Ilam Hall - Peak District

Post by CliffDutfield »

Has anyone camped at Ilam Hall in the Peak District?

Planning our maiden voyage in Big Kev for the half term.

Camped there last year, great little (basic) site, I didnt know it was there but met my folks there for a walk and we decided to book in for the night. :idea

The toilets are away from the site in the main building but left open over night, path was a little dark so pack a torch.

Thanks Jez.

I have booked it now, going for 3 nights in half term. It says there is a shower block on the NT website but no one has mentioned it in any reviews.

The toilets are about 2 minutes away, the site is really basic but great views (ask if you can go at the top of the site as you are slightly raised ) we didn't use showers but I think there in the YHA part of the building just next to toilets.

Just reminded the other half and ive been told were going again
