digital camber scales

Post by lhd »

The magnetic type, are these any good?
I would have posted this in in tech but if you have a 2WD then you only really need to do it once.

I know mine are out as when I changed the top wishbone bushes I marked the position before removing the eccentric bolt, yet one wishbone was all the way in, and the other was 3/4 of the way out. :?
I'm not paying £80 to get it setup and then maybe lift it to pay another £80.
Rob.

as long as you have somewhere totally level then you can do it with a spirit level just set them at 0 or as close as you can for a basic setting till you lift it, well you can on a 14"

I always wondered why some one didn't make a long rod that screwed into a wheel bolt thread to measure camber ?
You could use a ruler (yes I know it should be "rule") to measure close to the wheel to the (flat) ground and measure again further out (easy for 0 degrees ;))

Seems so obvious I feel I must have missed summat :?
