air ducting
I have a 2l cu air cooled, been getting fumes in cab,found the cause ,its a black duct on driver side ,off the heating pod its about 400mm long 63mm dia .Any ideas where you can buy new ones

I was hoping to find vw ones, black plastic with steel flex inside, will the ones on ebay be all right to use

I doubt the ducting is the cause of the fumes in the cab. It's designed to carry the hot air from the heat exchangers into the cab. The fumes are probably coming from rusted heat exchangers. Replacing the ducting will make it worse as the new piece with probably do a better job of containing the fumes and getting them into the cab.
But as oldie suggested any 63mm heat resistance ducting will do the job.

2ltr Aircooled CU with twin Solex's & originally a 009 dizzie, but now back to standard.
