Oil Filler

Post by nicktennear »

Hello all, I've discovered a minor leak from between the bottom of the oil filler tube and the engine, tightened it up but it looks like the gasket has failed. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the gasket for a DG? I can find diesel on Brickwerks, is it the same? http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... ord=gasket" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks.

It looks very similar.

For info this is one of those occasions where a home-made gasket and a smear of blue hylomar is emminently suitable. It's a bit of a bugger to get to remove the filler tube with the engine mounting bar in place too :roll:
