Front Door pillar seals

Post by Gaz70 »

Afternoon Guys, after some help, my 1990 Multivan, its currently being resprayed, but having difficulty tracking down front door seals that attach to the door pillars via a grove. It must be a newer addition as looked at a couple of earlier vans at Sandown Park and they didnt have the seals fitted. Any help greatly appreciated i can attach a picture if that helps. Trying to track down to replace as current ones are split  :? .. thx Gaz

There is a pair of seals on ebay that need the doors removing to fit. There is also an additional rubber strip that ran along the angled edge of a cab door. I'#e seen billy739 list them for sale before

Thanks for you help guys. I will see if i can salvage my whistle stops before i buy more used ones, seeing a lot of parts are now obsolete, potential money spinner for a buddy entrepreneur. Ref gutter trim, i see a few posts ref using classic mini trim, would you recommend?

have a look at http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They do a wide range of seals and everything else for trimming out classic vehicles. They usually have a stand at most classic car shows and are a very good company to deal with, I've had lots of stuff from them over the years.

Would these have been on a 1984 van? Mine was totally stripped when I bought her so I can't tell.
