Which oil pressure switches??

Post by Poseidon »

I have a 1.9 DG with the early type exhaust (if that makes any difference)
I have recently had buzzer of doom issues, and managed to stop it by playing with the disconnected wires in the back as its most likely to be a faulty sensor.
I want to replace both sensors / switches but not sure which two I need as there are blue, black, grey and white.

Any help with this would be great :)

Cheers

Get the oil pressure checked properly ... the original VW sensors do not actually fail as often as people would like to believe.

What oil are you using ?

they are switches not sensors.

low,low pressure switch 0.3 bar blue
line pressure (high) switch 0.9 bar grey
