Is it possible?

Post by Sw:sbp »

Hey, just bought a Doka and would quite like a rev counter rather than a clock? Is it possible, does anyone know what is required?

Cheers. Neil.

okay, having searched before posting I couldn't find anything, now I realise that i might be crazy. I have a wbx engine on a F plate (I think) and would have to buy a dash pod with a working rev counter from an existing petrol T25...then something to do with the alternator or coil or something....
madness. Well onward and upward. I'll not let it deter me. Any ideas or clarification?

Cheers. Neil.

post 86/7 petrol van then a rev counter dash is a straight fit.

same as 86/7 disel dash

early 1.6 d and petrols did not have wirte to dash from engine

but you can fit the wire and if you have vertical dash plug you need to move some wires about on the plug

for reference year , engine type and size would be very helpful
