The new ones seem simple to fit (two halves) just wondering how to get the old ones out.. Had a look on Brickwerks website and they've got nothing listed yet. :ok

I would make sure it is definately mullered before worrying about it....Just because someone has shoved a piece of rubber hose in it doesn't necessarily mean that it has come apart. This could have been done trying to diagnose a noise which turned out to be something else.
As a VOID type mounting it is designed by VW to flex.
like I say....check that the rubber hasn't parted company from the metal (metalastic) and if still intact, not split or chaffed through to the metal outter, it will be re-usuable.

I agree with the others about the CV joints....thorough clean, examination and repack...don't waste your money on inferior after market (GKN) parts UNLESS they are needed.

Ok mate my 2p ... renew the outer ones while you have it with it's legs in the air. Clean and regrease the best 2 and put them on the inside ... easy to swap then.

I'd do the Powerflex nose mount while I was about it too.

Well the gearbox is out and will be going off to Aidan's next week and as you can see the front mount has seen better days so I will be replacing it with a power flex one..Anybody has any experience of these and how easy are they to fit?

Fit the powerflex bush and repack the CV joints with fresh grease. Shouldn't be more than £35 for the lot including a pot of grease from Halfwits (£6-ish)
Roller paint your camper at home: http://roller.epizy.com/55554/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for MP4 download.
