I had chance to go over and see my good friend Aidan Talbot at his new workshop this week.. Good to catch up... its been far too long..

Looking around the place I asked where all these bearing races had come from (job lot purchase I thought..)
Nope.. thats from some of the boxes that have been broken for parts coz they were too far damaged in other areas... :shock:

Some of the gearboxes that have been driven and driven with faults and low oil have only released 1 of these and maybe a few other small parts, basicaly turning the whole box to scrap metal..

I'll second that. First hint of trouble, get it done. Just done mine, and thank goodness I did. 3/4 synchro hub was breaking with hardly a sign.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
