T25 Viking

Post by fryup »

Hi all a have a 1984 t25 Viking I have had it for a couple of years I have changed all four wings and done a few other bits on it but the problem I have is that the people I bought the van off ripped out the vinyl the goes from the inside of the window to the body so now I have a gap between the window and the body from the inside with a sharp edge just wondered if anyone had any ideas on how I could repair it

Cheers Andy

If I'm understanding you correctly and you have the 'Xplorer' conversion with viking roof then the windows interior edges were trimmed with a strip that looked like this edge on OU. The U section is fairly ridgid whilst the O section is very flexible. The U section pushes onto the inner skin edge and the O section is squeezed between the inner skin and window edge to make a seal.
