Anyone using 17" low-profile A/T tyres

Post by KarlT »

Still faffing about with wheel/tyre ideas.
Liking the big alloy with Low-profile AT tyres look.
Anyone else got that look?
Thinking 235/55/17 or 235/60/17 with an aggressive AT tread. White writting a plus. Any recommendations?

:ok

I'd say you might have trouble getting that. Very few A/T tyres will be less than 70 series. I looked for 17" A/T's for the Freelander when I had it but I couldn't find anything that would fit

Cheers, Are Insa decent quality?
Think I'd have to go 55 or at most 60 sidewall.

Cooper Discoverer ATR and AT3 is available in 235/60/17.
Good tires both of them from what I know.

Toyo Open Country A/T seems available as well in that size, don't know if they are any good though.

The sizes you are looking at are there all right but I was unable to get them over here last year. Maybe you'll have better luck
