Hi Guys,
I have had my eye on this kit here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400192961635? ... 1423.l2649
I understand the front 2 door locking cylinders are easy enough to fit my main questions are with the sliding door and the boot.
I understand I would need a contact for the sliding door. Can I use anyone such as this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SLIDING-DOOR- ... 5d2984db16
or do I need a specific type?
Also regarding the boot, is it at all possible to lock the boot with these kits or is the mechanism completely different due to the barrel?
If anyone can give any advise as to why this kit might not be ideal would really appreciate input. I want to install it myself so cant get thatchams certificate anyway. Looked at TOAD, Cyclone etc but this seemed nice as had all the central locking kit bundled in too.
Thanks

Thats the contact plate thingy I used for the sliding door - works pretty well although be careful when you install it cos its a pretty tight fit so needs to be aligned accurately. I mounted it where the interior light switch is/was - removed that and drilled out the hole.

Ah cool thanks for that Mid,
How are you finding the alarm as a whole? Working well? Did you also add central locking to the tailgate?

Re: Scorpion Alarm with Locking
Not got the Scorpion just some cheapo central locking module (off flea-bay I think).
And haven't done the tailgate - mainly cos I couldn't face running a wire all the way down there and secondly because I don't tend to use the tailgate much so figured we could get away with not doing it ..... maybe a job for the future .....
