It's just a field and portaloos. I've seen portacabin shower blocks there but can't remember if it was Bugjam, VW Action or Big Bang. Or maybe all of the above. Either way you usually have to queue for ages and you wouldn't want to be in there long after the first day.

I liked camping so much I went full time.

Were going, take a portaloo with you if you can the toilets can get muddy, tho they are cleaned regularly. We tend to make sure were self sufficient rather than rely on anything at a show!

The loos are fine, not portaloos, well kept toilet blocks, it does get muddy but they are always being cleaned. Good stalls all around selling food and tat,,this is probably our fav event, well chilled out cool people gavin a good time, if it sounds like a bomb is going off make your way to the track, it will be the awesome jet car!!!! Hope the rain clears off.....Darren

As said above the toilet facilities are very good. Loads of different toilet blocks, and usually well stocked and clean. For BigBang and Action, they sometimes have portacabin showers, but there is a brick built shower block too, although this is a bit small for the amount of people there.

We have camped at Santa Pod several times with no porta potti, and have not had any problems apart from the occasional toilet queue first thing in the morning :ok

Hiya

Shame you picked this weekend for your first camping trip to Santapod. We have been going for 16 years and this weekend was the worst we have ever had. The weather was terrible. We were going to camp tonight but basically arrived at 11am and left by 3.30pm.

Please dont let this put you off, we have had many great weekends at The Pod and although it is often windy the amount of rain that has fallen this weekend left the site a total bog.

I hope you enjoy future camping trips in more clement weather! Check out my blog below for other VW shows and other family camping ideas.

Cheers
