clutch?gearbox?

hey guys

just took my van to the shops got going fine then tried to go down my gears to come up to a round about and they jammed,after a lot of raging i got in in then became graduly worse on every change in the end when jammed the only thing that seemed to work to get me home was to pull over put in neutral,take foot fully of clutch then start of again,this would then start of well untill i had to change down again,then would jam again so would have to repeat the pull over process,can anyone please give me an idea whats going on?

have you checked gearbox oil?

thanks il check,this might sound realy bad mate,but were would i look for that?i absolutely know nothing about engines
