again , i painted alloys , so look ok from a distance .. but up close they are not brill ... but hey .. who cares .. i dont !

sadly my sliding door now touches the alloys again ! grrrr , as the shim has brought the wheel out a bit .. also now i have my nice solid sliding door on that dont help.

so looks like i might have to mod the sliding door AGAIN !

just remember .. dont stay parked near the front of the carpark . as at 5am the surfers arrive !!!!

but it was free.,..

good one matt, i see your cooking on the kerb :ok a few year back we were heading up north to a salvage yard (architectural) and stopped in a newly surfaced layby off the A1 and i went and lit a charcoal barbie on the tarmac bit , cooked our food well but set the tarmac smaouldering burning . we moved on.....sharpish as it stunk

went to new forest yesterday , just got to forest , and throttle pedal linkage broke !!

had to bodge with duck tape , allan key , and umbrella ...

once home today ( 3 hour drive home like it ! was not going to all RAC ,or cancel my weekend away

all welded up , throttle pedal was supose be to held on with pop rivets.. but used nuts and bolts instead....

all seems ok now . will give it a drive to work tomorrow and see how it goes...

thanks to Rob from new forrest , as he tried to find me a part so i could fix it there.

ok new something big ish had to go at some point , went up north for weekend , and one way back down a1 , the clutch started to slip.

un-known how long its been in there , so better to go now then when we go for our 3 week trip around UK.

order in with brickwerks .. should arrive tomorrow .. not sure if i will do it tomorrow , or wait till thursaday .. update when i do.

also purchased a freeview receiver for iphone/ipad .. tested that out at weekend and worked quite well.

new clutch arrived from brickwerks ,

found out it was the main oil seal that had gone , as when i split the gearbox oil came out .. had a few dodgy bolts , but got it out

new clutch fitted , new seal , new bearing ... new bolts lol ... back together and driving again ...

just changed rear wheel bearing today ... had worse jobs to do .. had to nip to screwfix to get a circlip pliers ... but apart from that
all went well ...

no more dodgy noises ! lol

AFN conversion next weekend ! cant wait

off to woburn tomorrow night , my kid is a keeper for the day for her birthday
