I've just been playing with my clutch as I've always thought the biting point is a bit vauge. I don't really know whats normal for the van, as I have no comparison. In my car, when I hit the biting point, the whole rear end goes right down on the suspension instantly and very noticeably. In the van, as I bring the clutch up all that happens is the revs steadily decrease and eventually it stalls. If I actually look out the back window there is a tiny imperceptably drop on the suspension, but not much.
It still does hill starts, but theres a lot of guess work involved and I always end up overrevving it. Reverse hill starts are nigh-on impossible though. Is this normal?
