Same reason as ive said, and others have said on this post before Aiden. Same reasons as Aiden has said today said. Same reasons as in my PM i sent tonight after you have been told same by Aiden earlier today and others (including me) in previous days.
If you keep asking the same question the answer still wont change! If it makes it any easier i promise not to sell you my interior to save others the pain of multiple questions on how to make it fit. Im not going to empty your wallet just because your excited and want a RnR bed.
Hold out for a caravelle one, that is your best bet
al in jest, all in jest..
Didnt silverbullet say a while back that you can still get the hinges for the caravelle R&R beds? Which you can then fit to any caravelle seat?
Search my posts for the "All new Caravelle Z-bead thread" or something like that. I modified a Multican into a Caravelle one but it was a LOT of work. The thread explains the differences in detail, I even put up the frame dimensions (for the structure of the seat, not the hinge set)
Multivan r'n'r is about 95mm narrower than Caravelle r'n'r, which is narrower again (maybe 50mm) compared to a fixed Caravelle bench. Multivan is also fitted with special spacers between the vehicle sides and the plastic trim panels.
A fixed bench will not bolt direct onto a Caravelle r'n'r hinge set!
P.S. Aftermarket r'n'r never seem to fit properly, going by the reports and the quality can be shockingly poor. MDF is not a substitute for steel.
