Camper fridge

Post by Peter-T »

As the work on my van is due to start in a couple of weeks, i'm already thinking of the finished article. One of the points a friend has just raised, is that once finished, the only thing the van will lack is a fridge.

My "kitchen" area will be the right-hand-side of the rear flatbed, where there will be a stove, some shelves and some cupboards. Does anyone know of a small three-way fridge (like the sort you get in a "proper" camper) that I could incorporate into my cabinet? I've found various places that sell fridges but the smallest i've found is 60 litres. I'm looking for something half that size really.

Thanks for any ideas.

I'm doing the same at the moment. Everyone seems to go for a Dometic RM123 as the are the smallest to fit in a camper. Or slightly cheaper 2 way is RM122.

I hope that helps x

Or a compressor fridge, such as Waeco CR50.

Bit more money though. No gas so depends if you want it to work when in the middle of no where.

I'm still undecided...

i've got an old camper just replace this fridge with a dometic rm 123 nice fridges but you make a hole in your van for flue. So if i was starting again i would probably go for a compresser fridge :ok
