Driving advice for northern Europe

Post by chiz »

We are off to Denmark in June and will be travelling through Germany and Holland on the way back. The van will be fully loaded including the families bikes on the back.

My question is do I have to show a warning square on the back of the bikes or have a cover over them?

Anybody have any experience? Please

in the netherlands; if your load sticks out more than one meter (bit more than 3 feet) you must have a red/white square, and make sure your lighs are visible.
Have a nice trip in the netherlands, if you want more info let me know. (i life there)
