Hi. My 85 Autosleeper has a swivel seat on the passenger side, but I was wondering if anyone has fitted one to the drivers side?? Ive had a look and the handbrake looks like it would get in the way, is their any way round this??
Cheers

Re: Drivers swivel seats
We have a bolt-in swivel on both front seats, the driver's is a tad fiddly and involves the seat going right back, armrest down and quite low and the handbrake being off/only just on (until it was adjusted low before the mot). I can't comment on the Autosleeper interior but our homebrew leaves enough room to swivel to the '7 o'clock' position making all the front of the cab usable.

Re: Drivers swivel seats
I think most conversions fitted them to both sides otherwise the seats are at different heights and look 'odd'. The handbrake can be a P.I.T.A but I just let it off and keep my foot on the brake till it's swivelled past and then reapply the handbrake.

Re: Drivers swivel seats
I have an 86 autosleeper and both front seats swivel. The drivers seat can't go full 180 degrees as the units are in the way but with a bit of jigging about opening doors, tilting and sliding, it turns 90 degrees. This way someone can sit at the small table that fits between the seats.
