I was gonna put this in alternative engines but thought here might be better!
What Im after is what size clutches are fitted to the normal t25 van?
I have a scooby lump fitted in mine with a conversion plate, so it has a vw (albeit upgraded) clutch kit, Now I have had a seal go and the clutch is slipping, but I dont want to fork out mega bucks on a whole new kit as its just the friction plate thats gone
Clutch sizes???

Re: Clutch sizes???
seal gone is due to that stupid tsr adapter plate moving, talk to Richard at RJES for the full lowdown and a fix for it, oil thrower and input shaft may well be damaged - every single box I've seen with the adapter plate has had this issue, your old box included
I've had some oil throwers made

Wish I could afford to change it all over, but I just cant at the moment. The thing is I fitted the adaptor plate before rjes had even made his first mould for his conversion kits, so there wasnt an other option!

Re: Clutch sizes???
you don't need to change to the RJES bellhousing and move the engine, Richard can sort the problem with the plate, he's already done it for one of my other customers who lunched his second replacement bellhousing after another 2 years

Ohhhhhh I see, I'll give him a bell on Tuesday. gear box out now (only took an hour
) the seal has gone, but everything else looks ok, there is no more free play in the shaft as to when I fitted it, there is certainly no where near as much as when the last one went belly up!

Re: Clutch sizes???
think I have found the problem looks like the spigot bearing has collapsed!
bit of an update, having a little look about and I think I have found a replacement needle roller bearing and with out much searching cheapest so far is £3.40, just need someone with a leath to turn the flywheel out to make it fit!!!

Re: Clutch sizes???
correct fit bearing for scooby crank and our input shaft is available again Richard will supply that in SKF quality with securing ring, no machining necessary, not that expensive either
