1.9 DG electrical connections

Post by village »

Evening all, this is my first post on the forum, but I am a bit of a dub veteran, having owned a slack handful of HE's in the past and I'm just finishing off a 1.9 tdi conversion in our T4, but I am a T25 nube.

I helping my brother in law (Sunseeker on here) to fit a replacement DG engine this weekend, and it's all gone swimmingly thus far, but we're a bit stumped by the electrickery bits.

The following photos show the connections we need help with, any suggestions on where to plug them in will be very welcome

Okey dokey, next question:

The following picture shows the three wires we have yet to find a home for

Image

We have a yellow plug on a blue/black wire, a yellow plug on a black wire and a white plug on a brown/ black wire.

We also have the follow loose wire with three plugs on it. Any ideas?

Image

And lastly (for now......) This sensor. What is it for and where should it go?

That sensor pete is the low oil pressure sensor, and fits inbetween the push tubes on the left hand side of the engine as you look at it.

this is the "loom" that connects the choke, and idle cut off to the ignition live .

Image

the thick red in this pic is to the carb heater, and the three you cant home , two yellow spades "should be" ignition live and the other switched live from the relay for the choke.
