Post by guitarman482 »

Hi all, I have just fitted lowering springs to my bus, but need some shocks to stiffen up the ride. I reduced the front by 60m and the rear by 40m can anyone advise please

<pet peeve> They're not "shock absorbers", they're dampers. The springs absorb all the shocks from the road, and take the weight of the van. The dampers merely control how quickly they do so.

Shocks SHOULDN'T do anything to stiften the ride, if properly matched to the springs. If you want stiffer suspension, get the right springs to suit your desired result.
