back on the road!

Post by barsocial »

Hi! I have broken into my partners account!

The reason for my treachery is that we have had Jelly off road over the winter. We have started her up a couple of times a month and moved her forwards and backwards to stop the tires getting , well, what ever tires do when they are left in the same spot for months. However after having done the paper work, I'm wondering what else we should do mechanically to ease her into our first trip away? Are there any rules of thumb, like change the oil filter etc etc?

She's a 1.6 TD if that helps.
I can't wait to get away in her, and I just want the first one of 2012 to be as trouble free for her as possible. :D

As long as you've started her regular, everything should be fine. :)

Give it a run and if its due for an oil change, swap it out when engine is warm.
