fuel problem

Post by GAZNHAYT25 »

we have got a T25 2.0cu, just had all the carbs rebuilt at gasure and what a fab job steve did, it was running like a dream until i couldnt get any fuel thanks to mr cameren and his fantastic fuel shortages this week when the only fuel i could get was super unleaded...... rather than run out i put some in and it seemed to run fantasticly untill it got to quater of a tank today, its running like the carbs are knackered again, its back firing, smoking, and feeling like the chocke is on..... do u think its the super unleaded fuel i have put in or do u think the carbs are playing up again, if its the fuel do u think i have done any lasting damage or shall i just fill it bk up with normal fuel and hope for the best...... can someone help me please cheers

fill it up with normal unleaded and see what happens. My guess is the fuel. I'm not a holder of any certificates mind you

You may have run low enough to suck crap through. Could be that filter is clogged or carb/s have debris in.Change filter and topup - see how it goes.
