mega stretch carpet
hey there.. to anyone whos lined there van with carpet, i was wondering how u finish it around the windows and around the door?? thanks 4 any help

Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

Gently stretch it around the curve and trim it flush with the bodywork, the edge gets hidden with the door/window rubbers.

Is it best to try and get it under the rubber ? (or is that not too important)

It's easier done with the windows out but if it's a non factory window version there should be a trim on the inside of the frame you an pull off

when finishing around the sliding door do you just finish with a raw carpet edge?? is that vunerable to peel back after a while?? or do you use some kind of trim.. does the carpet start to fade after a while round the windows or is the mega stretch uv resistant?? just looking to get the best job and dont really want to be sticking bits back on after a few months or cutting bits out to replace it because its faded..

and the carpet stretched around into the channel where the door seal goes, it took ages but a good result.
