... and you bought a syncro ......

Why not, :ok a good olde tinkering helps me be distracted from the panic. As long as im anxious about somthing other than what im suffering is allways good in my book.

Up untill 3years ago (23 now) i never used to be like this.
I went travelling around the world. I could drive up to scotland easy. I was one of the most outgoing and easy going people you would ever meet.

But i should get back to that soonish.:)
what happened? you dont have to tell but im nosey.

When i was 19-20 i was at uni and was living with a buch of girls as house mates. They ended up being B1tch3s.!
I became ill with a virus and was in bed, i was bed ridder for 5days with a temp of 103. Not one of them checked on me. I lost 1/2 a stone in weight and was very weak.
One of the girls pulled me out of bed and dragged me down stairs(i was on the 3rd floor btw) as she wanted me to wash up. I bearly managed to do it and get to bed.. Then i started to panic. This is when it all started. I was so ill that i thought that i would stay like this or get worse. And it doesnt help being treated like dirt. So i called my mum and she picked me up 2hours later. I was at canterbury uni btw.

Since then i get anxious when i leave the house, thinking i will become unwell when i go out. Collapse or be sick. I know its irrational and i am working towards getting better. :) :ok

I do hope your syncro brings you lots of opportunities for happy times ahead. Sounds awful.

I am curious though - when did you learn to weld and do mechanics as a wee nipper that you are - especially if you spent 3 years at Uni? only asking as I am dying to know more about how to take care of my van!

What annoys me is when people who suffer with emotional and mental problems i.e depression, anxiety, bipoler etc seem to be over looked. Unless you have been through it or are close to someone who has then people dont get the help or understanding.
