interesting drive home today

Post by axeman »

was up on the top of a roof felting and battening and the van was parked in front of garage of the customer and he wanted to get to his car and go out. got dean (labourer/slave) to move the van as he was on the lower lift of the scaffold. he moved the van but came back with the geae tick in his hand :( as luck would have it dean broke the stick around 1.30 this afternoon, so a quick call to Michael at brickworks (dont realy know how to work the webshop from my phone  ) and he has posted a new stick down to me, so hopefully it will be here tomorrow. thanks

had to drive home with a screw drive home with a screw driver as a gear stick. where is the irish man with some re-bar when you realy need him?

I've got a spare SA 4-speed lever (solid bar) could have had Neil! Suppose I'd better fit it before it breaks then...
