interesting, I must admit I thought the days of forward control was over due to crash test regulations etc..,. and that's why they didn't move the T3 production line from SA to China, but have heard today that the Brazilian bays may well come to the end of the line in 2014 so will be interesting to see what VW Brazil makes then, maybe T3s ?

If Jeep make that I wonder wil CJ get one :rofl

Looks like a Landy S2B and will probably be less reliable...

I always thought that FC vehicles were generally withdrawn because of conflicts with occupant vs. pedestrian safety too, but at VW it was more about the "we don't make rear-engine vehicles anymore" policy?

But Mitsubishi make the Canter truck and Hyundai the H100 van, both recent forward control designs :?

Sure nearly every van that comes out of Japan is almost forward control. I used to have a Dinky one of them .....
