If you stick it's a*** in the air you shouldn't lose hardly any coolant and just opening the bleed valve and running it up to temp should bleed it for you.
Petrol pipe is only hose immediately after (and from the inline filter) and before the tank and in the engine bay, the rest should be hard black plastic which can be checked for splitting but won't need replacing. 2 mtrs is easily enough.

cheers can i use the same pipe for that and petrol
looks like i need to do some more digging i changed that pipe (the only one i could see leaking ) and thought id cured it , but just looked and the expansion bottle is empty again
