Had a look under than earlier and noticed this leak:

Where would that be coming from?
Also there is oil splattered over the gearbox – is that normal?
Cheers

Depends what you call normal! Oil works best when it is contained within gearbox/engine.
as a graphic designer you want to be able to take some better photos than that. I cant make out what or where it is!

I have asked for help in a friendly way. There was no point in the reply I got.

Re: Where is this oil leaking from ?
If you lay on your back and look up towards the engine - thats the angle which the photo was taken. Not that clear I admit .
There are 2 issues here. The photo shows a leak which is coming from somewhere higher up in the engine. The question about oil on the outside of the gearbox is a separate concern.
Cheers

I Must admit its a bad picture.
It's hard to help with such a picture in all honesty.

Get a can of spray de-greaser from Poundland. Spend an hour cleaning the engine & box as best you can. Run the engine without driving the van. Follow the leak to its source.
If you've been driving, oil will have been blown everywhere by the air-flow and you'll be lucky if you can find the source.
