hello,
pease can somebody help.
will soon be putting the interior back in my camper.have been told by a friend thet all the metal work in the rear should be carpetid. this means the uptights wich are visible between the glass if you get what i mean. am told this will stop condensation upon m etal work.has anyone got any thoughts as is sprayed at the mo.i hope this makes sense.
It would probably reduce condensation by acting as a slight barrier to moisture getting directly at the cold metalwork.
There will always be some condensation, but its less noticeable with carpet to soak it up.
Haven't done mine yet, but I will probably be carpeting mine too.
my mate has got a t4 and did his he says it totally stopped and the carpet doesnt get wet or hold water. i have a 1980 vw t25 1600 ct Aircooled devon camper and am doing a full restoration on it. am keeping it origana so dont know wether it would look ok on a older camper.
