how do side elevating roof lock open? SORTED

Post by delinkwent »

hello folks, i think i have some parts missing to the roof for our new t25 devon.

it's a side elevating roof - i've never had one before - i think there is supposed to be a bracket at the bottom of the fibre glass roof section by the back of the sliding door. there is one above it. i assume that with the two bars in place there is then a third bar that attaches vertically to the two horazontal bars to lock the roof up. is this correct?

can someone post up a picture of the locking mechanism from thier side elevator please?

i will post a pic of where i think there is something missing in our van later.

thanks, billy

here's a picture of where/what i think is missing:

you can just about make out the brown metal bar on the top of the roof section. i assume there is another shorter one that is supposed to go where the two holes and glue are above the carpet, and that there is a bar that connects vertically between the two once the roof is elevated to lock it in postion. is this correct?

can anyone post a picture of a complete set, and/or let me know how long the connecting bar is please

thanks, billy
