Very much to do with the amount cold start cycles but I'm pretty sure in saying that there isn't a service replacement interval for these. I would have thought as a rough guide 36 - 60K (3 - 5 years). But on low annual mileage campers (starting and driving several hours) which is typical camper use....the replacement interval could be much longer.

Well mine have been in about 5 years, but starting was getting less than instant-ish then nothing anyhow after having a poke about the usual suspect of fuse ion relay was found to have disintegrated, so me thinks easy fix as I have a spare (had) fits it and still not perfect so decide to check the plugs and find 2 were goosed so out with the lot and £20 and an hour later I have 4 new ones and good starting again .

I learnt the hard way that cheap ones were only lasting 10 to 18months....from outright failure to degraded resistance....switched to Beru manufactured ones and still going strong. learnt my lesson about false economy replacement parts especially if one is fitting them oneself.
