Fuel tank sender and filler pipe

Post by muileach »

Hi all
I am looking for some advice I am going to have to replace the sender unit and the metal filler pipe on my 2.1 syncro fuel tank as the are showing signs of weeping. Is it possible to do this without removing the tank and if so what problems am I likely to encounter I Have got the sender unit from brickwerks but they dont supply a gasket any idea where I might get one.
Thanks Muileach

All can be done in situ. Buy some gasket material and goo that is petrol resistant and you'll be grand

I think we have some stainless fuel filler necks coming soon.
I'll check that this week.
