Think I may very soon be experiencing the same thing as I've just changed out all/most of the fuel lines and its been stood for a few weeks, so chances are that fuel supply will be a problem.
Taking CovKid's advice, stupid question but are we talking about removing the pancake, and pouring petrol into the carb chamber that is covered by the choke flap?? (or am I missing something/about to hurt myself)
Thanks

Have a wet towel to hand as, often, a backfire can cause small flames in the carb mouth, nothing to worry about as long as you know it can happen and are prepared for it.
